# Configurations for Gatling

Hi,

Good day to you.  
Can someone please tell me the best configurations (to date: 26th Aug. 2019) for the following in order to run Gatling without worrying about a run crash or runtime errors:

> Gatling version  
> Java version  
> Scala version  
> IDE version (IntelliJ preferred)  
> Plugins to be installed  
> Maven version  
> Pom.xml dependancies  
> Ideal Operating System

This would be much helpful.

P.S. Please don’t bother suggesting to use the latest version of everything (which doesn’t work) or to visit this link - [https://gatling.io/docs/2.3/quickstart/](https://gatling.io/docs/2.3/quickstart/) - both these are tried but to no avail.
