When I run the gatling tests  
— Errors --------------------------------------------------------------------

You’re hitting an url with an https scheme but your server doesn’t do https but only clear http on this port.

Indeed, you’re hitting [https://localhost:8080](https://localhost:8080) on your tomcat, but:

- tomcat only does clear http on this port =\> hence your error
- you’ve merely configured a redirect to port 8443 without listening nor enabling https on this port
