I apologize in advance if this is not the right place to ask the question, but I just wanted to give it a chance.
I am wondering in terms of load volume. We had the analysis of the traffic on the site and preparations for Black Friday. The team got to this number of 500 requests / per second. To me, that seems like a huge load. But I am wondering if I am wrong.
I would like to get some feedback from the community on this and some experts when it comes to performance testing.
Would you categorize it as a small, medium, or large load?

It really depends on your use case
For a small e-commerce website, 500 rps is huge.
For an ads platform, it’s super small.
