Hey everyone,

We just released a new open-source AI skill that converts your existing JMeter test plans into working Gatling simulations, directly from your IDE.

**JMeter to Gatling Converter**

 ![JMeter - Gatling Converter](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex013/uploads/gatling2/original/2X/a/aa5ba28be7b8100622e31034e96b761cd37a4dc1.jpeg)

An AI skill for Claude Code and Cursor. Point it at your `.jmx` file and type: `"I want to convert a JMeter script to Gatling"`

The converter handles the rest:

- Detects your JMeter test plan

- Maps every element to its Gatling equivalent

- Generates code in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or Kotlin

- Compiles and flags what needs review

- Suggests Gatling-idiomatic improvements

This is an early release, and we need your help. The converter works well on standard JMeter test plans, and we know there are edge cases we haven’t seen yet. If you try it and run into something that doesn’t convert correctly, please open an issue on GitHub or drop a comment here. Every report helps us improve coverage for everyone.
