I am using Gutling to make a couple of load tests for my dissertation which compares two technology stacks. If I were to increase the maxPlotPerSeries value in the config file, would that result in more accurate reports?

This is because I have to make sure that the tool used provide as much accurate results as possible.

It would increase the accuracy once you zoom in.

So how much do you recommend to increase it to have the best result without effecting the performance of the tool itself?

Having said that I think that even the accuracy in ms can be altered right?

It only affects the charts generation that happens AFTER the run.
