# No simulation script error even when scripts do exit

I have simulation scripts that exists under \<GATLING\_HOME\>/user\_files/simulations, including the default ones. But when I run gatling.bat, I get the following error.

GATLING\_HOME is set to “C:\downloads\gatling-charts-highcharts-bundle-3.1.1”  
JAVA = ““C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0\_211\bin\java.exe””  
There is no simulation script. Please check that your scripts are in user-files/simulations

Has anyone encountered this issue? It was working fine till recently and I can’t recollect any major change that could induce this.

Remove “target” folder and compile again. It should work.
