# Premature Close

I am getting IO.Exception: Premature Close with my Gatling script

Current version is 3.4

Premature close happens when the server closed the socket before streaming the response.

> Current version is 3.4

So very old. The first thing you should be doing is to upgrade to 3.9.0 and check if you’re not facing a bug that’s been fixed for ages.
