I recently spent a fair amount of time in my spam folder and noticed a lot of [Gatling List] messages…
I could not understand why so many were flagged, but then I found a few that clearly were spam, but also nonsense. My best guess is that someone specifically designed these to look like spam, perhaps as part of a denial-of-service attack to deny Gatling users of valid email communications. This is a new attack strategy I have not previously seen before.
I am not sure if anyone else has reported this, but I thought I would bring it to everyone’s attention…
