Downloading 1.5.5 tar.gz with wget

Hi - I’m trying to write a script to download and install Gatling on new AWS instances. Is there a public, stable download url that is compatible with something like wget?

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1zTVlhQrNiyaUxGSVJqcUdtcW8 seems to require manual intervention by a user in a browser to actually download the file. How can I have a script download this file?

No, you’ll have to host on your own.
Next Gatling 2 releases will be on maven central.
