Gatling 2.0.0-RC1 and gatling.io are out!

The Gatling team is very proud to announce some great news!

We’ve (finally) released Gatling 2.0.0-RC1.
We have a new website: http://gatling.io.
We’ve changed Github organization to https://github.com/gatling.

any projections for when:

sbt-plugin would be upgraded to RC1?
maven-plugin would be upgraded to RC1?

OMG, I forgot to release the maven plugin!!
I just did, so it should be on central in about half an hour.
The sbt plugin should already be up. Is it not?

The test framework is on Sonatype and the SBT plugin has been synced to SBT’s repository, everything should work fine.
By the way, the plugin’s version is 1.0-RC1, not 2.0.0-RC1

hmmm, if you’re trying to confuse the enemy, you’re succeeding

https://github.com/gatling/gatling-sbt/ still shows:

addSbtPlugin("io.gatling" % "sbt-plugin" % "1.0-SNAPSHOT")

and if you’d like it to be as transparent as possible, maybe you can publish it to maven central, just like the rest of the gatling ecosystem?

anyways, I took it for a spin, and get the same misbehavior as with the SNAPSHOT version:

recording is fine, with the same misbehavior as the gatling 2.0.0-RC1 explained in a different email (no surprise there)
playing it does not work:

(from sbt)>>> gatling:test

My bad, I just updated the plugin’s README.
We could publish to Central indeed, but publishing to SBT repos has the advantages that there is no specific resolvers configuration to set for the plugins, as it’s where all others plugins are published.
It actually make things easier for the users
Your problems with running SBT troubles me… could your share your build scripts in a gist please ?
