java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: null

I have checked Gatling on latest openjdk docker image and everything is working

So I started wondering why you have problem.
I have take you Dockerfile and after some tests I changed ENTRYPOINT from Exec to Shell type and it’s working.
Dockerfile:

# Gatling is a highly capable load testing tool.
#
# Documentation: https://gatling.io/docs/3.2/
# Cheat sheet: https://gatling.io/docs/3.2/cheat-sheet/

FROM openjdk:17-jdk-alpine
