i’m facing a problem with jackson-databind-2.4.0-rc2 which was updated a couple of days ago.
Here’s the error message:
[ERROR] error: error while loading DefaultDeserializationContext, class file ‘/Users/zap23/.m2/repository/com/fasterxml/jackson/core/jackson-databind/2.4.0-rc2/jackson-databind-2.4.0-rc2.jar(com/fasterxml/jackson/databind/deser/DefaultDeserializationContext.class)’ is broken
[INFO] (class java.lang.NullPointerException/null)

M2cents: broken maven download. Have you tried removing the directory from your local repo?
Purged the whole local repository but didn’t solved the nullpointer…
So that’s probably a Jackson regression.
Could you explain the use case and provide the stacktrace so we can open an issue on Jackson, please?
Updated the jackson-module-scala add-on from 2.3.2 to 2.4.0-rc1 and it’s gone…
