Save status code to variable

I have been searching for a way to save status code to a session variable with no luck. I suspect is quite simple, but could not figure it out. Can someone please send me a pointer?

Thank you! I knew it was simple. Initial I tried status.is(200).saveAs(“status”), the correct way is just status.saveAs(“status”)
