Does recorder now require HTTPS

It appears in the 2+ version of gatling, there is now only an option for one port, and that ports seems to only handle SSL. Looking at the HttpsUserHandler, scala class, tt seems that the “direct connect” method only handles SSL as seen here: https://github.com/gatling/gatling/blob/master/gatling-recorder/src/main/scala/io/gatling/recorder/http/handler/user/HttpsUserHandler.scala

The exception I get is on line 68.

Is there a way to handl non-SSL recordings?

Thanks,
Ryan

Perhaps this is a more relevent stacktrace:
