Next 2.X release?

Hi guys -

Any word on a new stable branch for 2.0?

Anything recent-ish since 2.0.0-M3a would be a huge win for me.

Every now and then, some of the snapshots break on me and cause all manner of inconvenience and frustration.

Even just another milestone release would be preferable to the missing features of 2.0.0-M3a and the instability of working against SNAPSHOT.

Hi Spencer,

We’re in the process of writing the new documentation. Then I has some unfinished business on the websocket side.
Expect a release the week after the next one.

Are we still on track for a release soon?

Is it advisable to go start working against master/snapshot until the release?

I hope we’ll be able to enter release candidate phase soon, but I can’t define “soon” :frowning:
Some guys are working on the new website so we can publish the new documentation.

In the meanwhile, I’m very busy fixing all the bugs people like Alex find on a regular basis… :slight_smile:
