What does this mean and how could I deal with it?

That means you have to generate SSL certificates. For https, gatling needs certificates. Check this page http://gatling.io/docs/2.0.3/http/recorder.html?highlight=certificates

Note that things will be way easier in upcoming 2.1, as we’ll provide a way to generate or provide a private Certificate Authority.
