Is it possible to have Gatling generate a text based report in addition to the HTML report? For instance, one that contains the same information that is printed under “Global Information” when running with the gatling.sh script.

There is a text based report, more specifically a JSON based report.
You can find it in the stats.js file, located inside the js folder in your report’s folder.
