Can we use gatling for mobile performance testing

Our website supports the webresponsive mode. So can we use gatling in any which way will test the performance of website for mobile devices?

Gatling works on the network level, so yes and no: You can test the performance of your site, but you will not be able to test the end user experience since Gatling doesn’t run any browser.
