Inaccurate Response Time Observed As Consumer Starts After Producer For Kafka Tests

It has been noticed that the Kafka consumer subscribes to the reply topic after the producer sends the request message. This causes the reported response time to be artificially lower, as it includes the consumer subscription/initialization time rather than just the actual message round-trip time. I have setup a test repository here where I have tested this out which you can use to refer as well.

Sorry but this is a third party plugin and hence is not supported here. The best way it to open an issue on the project’s bug tracker.
