Use relative URIs with connect proxies

Hello,
Some times ago in commit:
Upgrade AHC 2.0.0-alpha2

this option:
gatling.http.ahc.useRelativeURIsWithConnectProxies
was dropped with comment with comment that it didn’t make sense to have this configurable
I wonder if it is possible to enable it somehow at the moment?

The reason behind that is because our reverse proxy is returning 503 service unavailable error when send by gatling.
When the same request send by curl with relative path after secure connection is opened works correctly.
